About Ethan and Blue Ridge Bucha

Blue Ridge Bucha is small, family-owned business with an awesome and dedicated team that is passionate about making a high quality product and bringing it to you in a uniquely sustainable way.

In 2010, husband-and-wife team Ethan and Kate Zuckerman founded a company with a mission: to make delicious kombucha in a refillable bottle. More than six years later, this commitment has saved more than half a million bottles…and counting.

Ethan and his team are still handcrafting our kombucha in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Nelson County, VA.  They are brewing with the same culture that he began working with over a decade ago, using Certified Organic ingredients to create refreshing and unique flavors.

As you learn to master your own kombucha brewing, know that you can always find the tried and true classic flavors as well as the new and seasonal offerings on tap and on our shelves at Ellwood’s.  Bring your growler for a fill at the Green & Grind, for snag a refillable bottle to-go in our beverage case.
