Ann Antonietta

Ann recently completed the 200 RYT through YogaWorks (registered with Yoga Alliance) at Yoga Source in Carytown. The training focused on precise instruction, alignment with breath, fluid movement, with an emphasis on thoughtful sequencing.

Along with yoga, Ann enjoys staying active by taking daily river walks with her four dogs, volunteering with animal rescue, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.

Yoga has been a way for Ann to stay balanced mentally and physically. It has opened her eyes to so many beautiful philosophies and ways of living.  Teaching karma yoga classes is a way for her to serve and give back to others.

Jill McCranie

Jill also recently completed a 200-hour registered yoga teacher training through YogaWorks (registered with Yoga Alliance) at Yoga Source in Carytown.  The training included learning posture alignment with an emphasis on anatomy, breathing, hands-on adjustments, teaching techniques and yoga philosophies rooted in the yoga sutras of Patanjali.

In addition to yoga, Jill’s pursuits include crossfit, road cycling, healthy cooking, her dog, spending quality time with her friends and family and a full-time job in IT.  For her, both the philosophy and physical practice of yoga are an integral part of her daily routine.  Teaching karma yoga classes is an opportunity for her, as well as those who attend the practice, to give back to the community.  Her hope is to inspire students to also use yoga as means to gaining peace, clarity and well-being.


Karma is action.  Karma yoga is one of many paths to self-realization through selfless service.

Our karma yoga classes will be dedicated to a different local nonprofit organization each month.  That organization will be the beneficiaries of the donations collected during the month.

During the class, you will be guided through traditional postures and techniques, linking breath with movement, which will offer you a well-rounded and balanced practice. This class is for beginners but all levels are welcome.

Please bring your own towel (optional) and yoga mat.
